1962. Very rare local letter sent to from Nam Dinh to Nghi-An with a single franking of Michel Nr. 225. Arrival cancel from September 11th, 1962 on the reverse. Most local letters were destroyed in the multi-decadal wars, the tropical climate that could destroy paper within a short time and recycling due to raw material shortages. For that reason most preserved early letters are from the international mail. Small stains on the envelope. Envelope opened at bottom, right and to one third on top right. Original letter inside. ÷ 1962. Sehr seltener lokaler Brief von Nam Dinh nach Nghi-An mit einer Einzelfrankatur der Michel Nr. 225. Ankunftstempel vom 11.9.1962 auf der Rückseite . Die meisten lokalen Briefe wurden in dem jahrzehntelangen Krieg, durch das tropische Klima, das Papier innerhalb kurzer Zeit zerstören kann oder durch Recycling wegen der Rohmaterialknappheit zerstört. Daher stammt die große Mehrheit der erhaltenen frühen Briefe aus dem internationalen Postverkehr. Leichte Schmutzflecken auf dem Umschlag. Umschlag unten, rechts und zu einem Drittel oben links geöffnet. Originalbrief enthalten.

Christoph Gärtner made his hobby into his profession. He started in 1984 and within two decades the Gärtner GmbH developed into a world leading mail order house for postal stationery and became a specialist for thematics and postal history.
In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
