1915/17. Large album sheets (two) with various Siam stamps including SG 159 to 162 and SG 163 to 165, SG 166 to 170, 'Victory' 2s brown and 3 s green and 'Red Cross' 2s yellow-brown all in strips of three cancelled by 'SPECIMEN COLLECTION MAURITANIE' in red ink. A unique item which was 'liberated' from the Archives in West Africa in 2011. The stamps were sent from UPU to the French West African state of Mauriania and fixed to album sheets in strip of three in order of receipt from the UPU. In 1951 an audit was carried out with the number of stamps per page being recorded by the postal official in St. Louis, Senegal (the de-facto) administrative capital of the two colonies separated by the Senegal River. At this time the 'Speciman Collection Mauritanie' would have been applied.

Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
