1888/1897, lot of 3 covers to Germany, comprising a 4-color franking with 1 C grey, 2 x 2 C yellow, 2 x 5 C violet and 10 C yellow brown from Paramaribo, 27.3.1888, along with boxed "SURINAM VIA HAVRE" placed on 5 stamps, on cover to Kleinwelka; 10 C olive brown "Wilhelmina" and 25 C bright blue "Wilhelm", mixed issues franking on registered cover from Paramaribo, 3.4.1895, along with 3-line "SURINAME OVER ST.NAZAIRE" and french paquebot dater to Dresden and 2 x 10 C on 20 C green "Wilhelm" multiple franking on underpaid cover from Paramaribo, 24.4.1899, along with boxed "SURINAME OVER PLYMOUTH" to Dresden. Attractive group in fine condition.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
