1970: parcel card sent to Italy franked with 1965 high value 500 M in very fine bloc of eight (Roman architecture: Antonius Pius temple in Sabratha) with RARE MANUSCRIPT OVERPRINT OF THE WORD KINGDOM OF LIBYA (used after declaration of the Arab Republik, this local overprint is mentioned in Michel but unpriced) and supplementary franking tied by "TRIPOLI PARCEL ACCEPTANCE LIBYA 28.9.1970"cds. At arrival in Italy a pair of parcel postage due stamps was applied "Italia pacchi sul bollettino" cancelled "ROMA PACCHI DOMICILIO 14.10.1970" A RARE USAGE OF THESE OVERPRINTED STAMPS UNPRICED IN MICHEL AND UNKNOWN IN MINT CONDITION. The overprinted stamps are in perfect condition, but some of the normal stamps have wrinkles.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
