1863 Entire letter from St. Pierre, Martinique to Gironde, France, re-directed to Kissingen, Bavaria via Paris, Strasbourg etc., franked by France 1860 'Napoleon' 80c. carmine-rose tied by numeral "771", with '29 July 1863' despatch cds, "PD" in red and sender oval on front, seven transit datestamps as well as '18 Aug 63' Kissingen arrival datestamp on the reverse. The 80c. separated by hand at right with a damaged bottom corner and uneven margin at right otherwise fine.

In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
