1942 - 1943. Postage Due. Proofs. 2 k black and pale grey, 5 k olive brown (no background) and 10 K indigo (without background), impreforated soft white carton paper, all in vertical pairs with prints on both sides. At back of the 2 K value an additonal print of the 2 K in pale grey (opposite direction). At the back of the 5 K an additional shifted print of the 5 K and over that an impression of 4 K in olive brown. Finally at back of 10 K an imcomplete (shifted) print of 5 K and additionally an impression of 4 K, both in olive brown. (opposite directions). Wonderful group.

Christoph Gärtner made his hobby into his profession. He started in 1984 and within two decades the Gärtner GmbH developed into a world leading mail order house for postal stationery and became a specialist for thematics and postal history.
In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
