1944. 50b red/chamois parcel card accompanying a parcel of foodstuffs (10,5 kg) to TREBINJE, the additional charghes pais with 75b deep green, perf L11 1/2 (2 copies) of 1942 Official issues, 7K+7,30 K claret, red and rose (strip of three at front, single at reverse) of 1944 War Invalids issue, the balance of the franking, 20 K deep brown of 1941 Pictorials, 2 K lilac-red (comb perf 14) of Dr. Ante Pavelich definitives and finally 2K dull carmine of OBLIGATORY WAR TAX (introduced on 1 January 1944), all tied by five strikes of "7 RUMA 23 III.44", proviisonal parcel label "No. 993" at front, parcel arrvial "TREBINJE d 30.III.44", fees of 15 K paid with selection of Postage dues from 1942-1943 and tied by "TREBINJE d 31.III.44" (the last of the 1K Postage due applied to the front, due to lack of space at reverse). Very scarce usage of the St. Sebastian stamp.
NB: All four examples of the St. Sebastian value show the RED PAHSE SHIFTED UPWARDS ("N.D.HRWATKA").

Christoph Gärtner made his hobby into his profession. He started in 1984 and within two decades the Gärtner GmbH developed into a world leading mail order house for postal stationery and became a specialist for thematics and postal history.
In april 2005 the idea to build a place where collectors, customers and investors from all over the world could meet, was realized.
Since that time both, the Mail Order House and Auction House Gärtner, have been united on 2.700 m2 in the easy accessible building owned by Christoph Gärtner.
Generous viewing and storage rooms, a private auction hall, enough parking space and an underground car park are available.
