People who sell on delcampe, in my experience, are collectors who are not primarily interested in making money. They are honest and sometimes generous. I have not had a single unpleasant experience on this site. Vive delcampe! |

I have been using Delcampe for some years now. I first came across the site using a web search for the obscure Eastern European local stamps I specialize in. Delcampe opened up a whole new world of small and individual dealers from all parts of the world who were happy to sell those elusive single stamps that could complete your sets without having to buy the entire set. I have always found the Delcampe community to be most friendly and honest and I have no ill experiences to report to date. The Delcampe web site has some great features and the prices for all services are remarkably reasonable. Great support too ! |

Although my collecting area is very limited and highly specialized, I have been able to acquire some nice additions to it on the Delcampe site.

Delcampe was recommended to me by a good numismatic friend of mine.
I found more than 1 friend here and bought many pieces upto now and zero non-satisfaction!
If lot suppliers explain their material a little bit more scientifically or at least common basic characteristics, it will be much better. We are shopping from thousands of kms away and we deserve to get nourishing info to bid safely.
I liked Delcampe within these last months and I am sure will
continue... at least another 75-80 years !!! |

Delcampe has dramatically changed my perspectives: I found a superlative site based in the 0 insertion fee which has become my right hand for my work. Regarding postcards, it is my #1 site for selling and buying.

I firmly believe that Delcampe.com is the best organized and managed auction on the Internet worldwide.
But to call your auction good, perfect, excellent will show only a very small particle of the unprecedent level of organization and management of your site. Everything, all operations and all tools are so deep think out that nothing, never can be added or changed. I don't know how effective will be me listings, but the pleasure to work on your site is great.

I collect Turkish postcards and have been using Delcampe for some time now. I think that in many ways the Delcampeur mentality and culture is more personal than that of other sites. I always feel that there are "real" people who sell on Delcampe whereas with others I sometimes wonder! The new format is great and the whole system seems better and quicker. All in all it is an excellent facility and I am grateful that it exists. |

When I discovered Delcampe.com I was been using other auction site, where it was more and more difficult to buy and list cheap items specially because of the high fees. When a seller pays a fee to list you guess who's really paying that fee and also the fees paid for the listings ended with no bids? Yes, the buyer! And, if you use Euro in your everyday life and need to list in US dollar to reach an worldwide audience, you are in a permanent worry with the up and down of the currency exchange market. At the same time, still on that site, by listing in English language and in US dollar, you don't reach, for example, a francophone audience. At the contrary, with Delcampe.com everybody sees the same items, while browsing the listings in the language of his own preference and with automatic exchange rate conversion. I first dealt with Seb Delcampe through other auction sites and was pleased to become one of the first members of his own site in August 2000. Its a great place for me as I collect stamps and postal history of the Benelux countries. I regard all those I have dealt with while conducting transactions on Seb's site as personal friends. The Delcampe Auction site is a wonderful place for the specialist, especially the cancel specialist. I do not have to buy a large group of stamps in order to obtain a single cancel that I am missing. Advanced collectors actually save money and do not waste time selling the extras when they would rather spend their time collecting and studying. |
